The festival had so many cute contests from the water lift to dancing lessons. There were many on hand who were directly involved in the movie. I expect this will get bigger every year!!

Dirty Dancing Festival- Lake Lure
We drove up to Lake Lure for the 1st annual Dirty Dancing Festival. We have always loved it up there and hope to actually attend the adult gala next year. It looked gorgeous down on the lake, but was sold out very fast. They held the gala at the bottom of the famous steps that Baby danced down ...."the watermelon scene".
