I wanted to blog about my trip/scholarship to Big Sky, Montana.  Instead of starting a new one, I dialed up and old one.  O  M  G  ....how I WISH I would have kept his sweet family diary going for the last 3 years!  I just read the whole thing and watched videos...all in one neat place!  It has only been 3 years, but how they have grown!!  I vow to keep it going and maybe even back fill!

12 days until Montana......... I started at 167 days!  I have been really excited to be able to tap into the TEN DAY forecast!!  Almost there!!

"Through the Looking Glass"

Cast Board!

Abby has been in a drama program for the last 10 weeks.  She shared the part of the Red Queen in a parody of Alice in Wonderland.  The production was so fun and we all would have sat there another hour to be entertained!

Abby learned alot about putting a play on.  She has always loved to be on stage, but I do think she has been bitten by the acting bug. Especially if there is make-up and singing!

She did really well, but we laughed so hard as she was also the announcer in a baseball scene and the girl playing Alice was hysterical. Abby let out a couple of giggles as Alice was making her laugh.

In the end, as the pictures show, she was clearly one happy little girl. There will be another production in the spring that I know she will want to do!

After dress rehearsal the night prior, I asked Abby if she would like to do the spring production and she said, " Ask me after tomorrow...." I just think that is so funny as Abby NEVER gets nervous.  This really did stretch her from her little comfort zone. The night before, she quickly talked herself down telling me, "Oh, well...I still have one more chance to practice right before the play....."  and off to bed ....Many days, I wish I could be more like her.....Steve has always called her "The Tank" because nothing can rock her....this play was exactly the case.   She did so well and got some laughs! I am excited for her as she will become more comfortable each time she gets up there.....
